| Hey there everyone! This week is a special rotation dedicated to my favorite artist and musical genius, Yasushi Ishii. SONG: When you start a war, fight with arrows, spears, and swordsARTIST: Yasushi Ishii LANGUAGE: Japanese COMMENT: One of the best songs to ever exist. It's great, and even chants, "No more savior," at the end. SONG: DanteARTIST: Yasushi Ishii LANGUAGE: None, it's all moaning COMMENT: It's a sad song, featured in Fullmetal Alchemist, where Dante was still in the old woman's body, and this song was playing on her radio. SONG: Gypsy of AtonementARTIST: Yasushi Ishii LANGUAGE: Engrish COMMENT: It's yet another fantastic song. You should look up the lyrics. SONG: From 666 to 777ARTIST: Yasushi Ishii LANGUAGE: Not a lot of talking, plenty of laughter though. COMMENT: Seems like a happy, peppy song for the first minute or so, but once the music ends, it gets filled with sinister laughter. SONG: The world without logosARTIST: Yasushi Ishii LANGUAGE: English COMMENT: It's complete gibberish, but it has a hidden meaning. It's also the theme song to the original anime inspired by Hellsing. No way in hell I'm going to say it's the anime to Hellsing. "The death wish wind is blowing into the life That suffering, that emptiness, that pain in the chest Inescapable criminal's destiny No matter how difficult the path is Don't look away, keep on living That is expiation. expiation... | Well, since it's been so bloody hot lately, I've decided to post some songs about the heat, and the summer. Of course, when I looked at my songs, I could only find one song that fit the criteria. Here it is. SONG: Summer in the CityARTIST: The Lovin' Spoonful LANGUAGE: English COMMENT: Incredibly old yet still grand song. Then I remembered to search Itunes Library for the word "sun." A little slow, I know. Here are those songs. SONG: Blister in the SunARTIST: Violent Femmes LANGUAGE: English COMMENT: Great song, quite popular. SONG: Island in the SunARTIST: Weezer LANGUAGE: English COMMENT: I know I put the name as "Holiday in the sun" on the Itunes file, but I ripped it off a CD and screwed, and I'm not a huge fan of Weezer. Anyhow, enjoy. SONG: Holidays in the SunARTIST: Sex Pistols LANGUAGE: English COMMENT: Sex Pistols! Yeah! You have to love them. Then, I realized that there's no Jrock! This is rather depressing, so I added this… SONG: Yami ni ame fukaishitaARTIST: Deathglaze LANGUAGE: Japanese COMMENT: Fantastic song to head bang to at three o'clock in the morning. Quote of the Day, "I was a damned good peacock." -One of Hugh Hefner's playmates Have a fantastic day! Link me?

Link you.

| Every year my school sends a group of students to Disneyland, which really isn’t that huge of a deal as it would be for most people, since the school is located thirty minutes from it. One word of advice for people going to Disneyland… don’t go. On a Tuesday in the middle of the day, it’s crowded as hell. You can’t walk down the damn little paths, and they have it roped out so you’re herded like cattle. Right around this one area it was really bad since there was construction. It was about five days before the premiere of The Pirates of the Caribbean movie, so they were basically building a temporary outdoor movie theatre, which had to take up most of the path, naturally. Brilliantly, I decided this is taking way too long and that I’m going to jump the fence to walk through the construction zone. Unfortunately, I over estimated myself and get stuck halfway over. I finally manage to make it over, right around the same time security notices me. I get my ass out of there, mainly thanks to a short iron fence that lead into some bushes. Once that was over, I couldn’t find my friends, since they were still way back down the road. Currently, I was in New Orleans, or the miniature version of it, and had this cute little café in it. So I sat at a table, waiting for my friends to pass by all the while the guy who clears the table is winking, raising his eyebrows and making gestures with his tongue directed at me. Oh course the only thing I could think to do was to repeat his gestures right back at him, and then get the hell out of there and rejoin my friends, finally. After this, we got into the not too bad line for the Haunted Mansion, which I have not been on since I was four, and all I remember it being is hell. To get onto the Haunted Mansion, since I guess it’s underground or something, you have to go on an elevator, which the employees try to fit as many people humanly possible into. Once the elevator has gotten down to the final level, the lights go out, and everyone jumps and screams, which isn’t so grand due to the amount of space available. The mix of anticipation, claustrophobia, and not being able see anything gave me an anxiety attack. At the time I was wearing a choke collar, and so I couldn’t breathe, and I started to all out panic, clawing at my collar and repeating, “I can’t breathe,” to my friend, who was desperately trying to get my collar off and repeating, “Hold still god damn it!”, while everyone else is trying to exit the elevator. Pass that, the only trouble we had with the ride was that we were disturbed by “Unfriendly Spirits”(People got off during the ride) three times. Apart from the Haunted Mansion, we went on the Carousel, where no one would sit near me, the Tiki Room, where we had to leave halfway through and yet again, no one would sit near me, and the Train that goes in a huge circle around the park, which technically isn’t even a ride, it’s transportation. That had to be our favorite, since we went on it five times around the park, no exaggeration, and people we forced to sit next to me, but there was always a least a foot between us. | |
